A well respected Commercial General Contractor in Metro Detroit is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to the team. They have 40 years of experience in the area and have a portfolio consisting of Commercial Office, Light Industrial, Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Education doing both renovation and ground-up work. The last 5 years have shown record growth with an outstanding pipeline consisting of both long-standing and new relationships. Role
- Oversee the day-to-day execution and management of Commercial Construction projects
- Work closely with all members of the project team, owners, architects, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as contract plans and specifications
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Enforce OSHA safety protocol
- Monitor and communicate project related issues, scope changes, and variances that may arise during the construction of the project
- Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience at a Commercial General Contractor
- Experience working on Commercial projects valued at $2M+
- Degree preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Procore experience
- OSHA Certification

- $125-$140k base salary, depending on experience
